Bush & Flu Shot, I Bet He Got One.

Thu Oct 21, 2004 at 07:24:55 AM PDT

Does anyone believe that Bush didn't get a flu shot?  I just don't believe that his campaign and medical team would let him out to shake all those hands without a flu shot.  I'm betting he got one as soon as they were available.

This is just my conjecture, but I just don't see Rove taking the risk that his pony would get sick.  Apologies if this has been discussed already.

Debate: Strange Final Moment

Thu Oct 14, 2004 at 08:16:15 AM PDT

Did anyone notice that exchange between Kerry & Bush during the post debate handshake?  They exchanged brief words, but then Bush kept talking while Kerry's attention was focused offstage.  Bush kept talking while Kerry was walking away. I don't know what they were talking about, but it sure looked like Kerry was brushing him off. I think Bushed looked pretty weak at that moment.

Gender Gap Will Widen

Chris Matthews and Pat Buchanan may have been amused by the way Bush mauled Charlie Gibson, but I was not.  I venture that most women have had at least one man in their life (maybe a boss or ex-boyfriend) like the man Bush revealed himself to be.  He was too loud, bullying, interrupting, angry at the slightest questioning, blaming others for his mistakes, and totally unable to admit he's wrong.  I think women, and maybe even some men, will question whether they want this schoolyard bully sending their family and neighbors to war to settle his scores.

Bluffing with a Bad Hand

Wed Oct 06, 2004 at 10:35:35 AM PDT

This administration has a record of failure.  Bush and Cheney are like poker players bluffing with a bad hand.  All I learned from this debate is that Cheney can lie with a straighter face than Bush.

Delusion & Confusion

Fri Oct 01, 2004 at 01:03:33 PM PDT

President Bush said Saddam Hussien when he probably meant to say Osama bin Laden.  Rumsfeld did the same thing.  The president said "The enemy attacked us" referring to Iraq.  But it was Al Qaeda, not Iraq that attacked us.  Is he confused, or is he trying to mislead us?  Nothing but confusion and delusion from this administration.

The presidency is too hard

Thu Sep 30, 2004 at 11:08:37 PM PDT

President Bush whined about his job being "hard work" 11 times.  This is the guy who took the longest vacation in presidential history while Al Qaeda put their plan in place.  Maybe we need a president who can handle hard work.
